As per our Joint  Powers Governance Agreement the Board of Directors has directors appointed from their governing bodies. In addition to these members, the City Managers from Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park each appoint two additional directors from the police and recreation departments, college presidents each appoint a youth director and the Alliance appoints two directors who represent youth in our community.

The duties of our board and member organizations are to work in support of our shared vision and implement strategies that best leverage resources, both human and financial, to improve access and quality of positive youth development opportunities.
